B vitamin complex comprises 8 water-soluble vitamins which play crucial roles in cell metabolism.  These are Thiamin, Riboflavin, Niacin, Vitamin B6, Vitamin B12, Folate, Biotin and  Pantothenic Acid.  Choline Bitartrate, Inositol and PABA are also included in the B vitamin complex because they are intimately involved metabolic processes. PABA is an intermediate in bacterial synthesis of Folate. Choline is needed for the synthesis of cell membrane phospholipids and for the synthesis of other compounds.  Inositol as the basis for a number of signalling and secondary messenger molecules, is involved in a number of biological processes.

Coenzyme Q-10 is a vitamin-like compound present in virtually all cells and in especially high concentrations in the heart, liver, kidney, and pancreas.  Its functions include antioxidant activity and as a cofactor in many metabolic pathways, particularly in the production of adenosine triphosphate (ATP) - the production of energy for the body.  Alpha-Lipoic Acid is essential for its antioxidant activity and role in biological energy production.  Acetyl L-Carnitine is another essential metabolic ingredient.  Its functions include transport of factors into the mitochondria to produce bio-energy.
